The Lewisville Grand Theater will present the bilingual tour de force Patricia Vonne back at the Grand on Saturday, February 5 at 8 p.m. Songwriter Series Box.

This concert takes place in the intimate Black Box Theater in the Grand. Tickets are general admission reserved seating at $20 and can be purchased online at Sales tax and ticket fees are included in the price.

Hailed as a “Renaissance woman of Austin, Texas” by The New York Times, Patricia Vonne has won many accolades during her illustrious career as an award-winning singer, songwriter, actress, activist and filmmaker. The three-time Austin Music Award winner has just released her eighth album, My Favorite Holiday, on her own Bandolera Records and continues her pioneering journey along the border where Castilian and Mexican infusions of flamenco and fiery gypsy guitar meet rock. ‘n’ American. roller. Vonne has toured internationally, including the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the World’s Fair in Japan, the John F. Kennedy Center, the Grand Ole Opry and the United Nations Headquarters in New York. She has also collaborated with heavyweights in Texas music, such as Charlie Sexton, Alejandro Escovedo, Joe Ely, Rosie Flores, Doyle Bramhall and Flaco Jimenez.

Vonne has appeared on the big screen in Spykids, Desperado, Machete Kills, Four Rooms, and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, where she reprized her role as Dallas/Zorro Girl; the role that made her a cult figure among fans of indie and fantasy films. His song “Traeme Paz” was featured in the movie Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Vonne’s older brother, Robert Rodriguez, is an award-winning director known for his work on the Spykids and Machete series. He is also executive producer of the new Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett, now streaming on Disney+.

Effective June 1, 2021, the Lewisville Grand Theater has lifted capacity restrictions imposed by COVID-19 and returned to full attendance capacity for all shows.
