NASHVILLE, TN… American Idol alum Lauren Mascitti has spent the past two years publishing its wildly popular weekly series #ClassicCountryCovers through social networks. The iconic Nashville venue is the 3rd and Lindsley asked him to make it a live event, which will launch on June 15.

On each #ClassicContryCovers Live show, Lauren will call on her fellow classical country-influenced musicians to join her in celebrating a different theme, creating a unique experience per show. “What better way to start than having my beautiful and talented girlfriends Kennedy Scott and Hannah Blaylock join in and do our Tribute to Trio show,” Lauren announced. Kennedy Scott will play Emmylou Harris, Hannah Blaylock will play Dolly Parton, and Mascitti will channel his best Linda Ronstadt.

Many fans discovered Nashville-based singer and songwriter Lauren Mascitti when she appeared on American Idol’s 2020 season, but Lauren has been performing and writing songs since she was 7 years old. By the time she was a teenager, she was performing six shows a week in Branson, Missouri, with gospel singer (and original Oak Ridge Boy) Gary McSpadden. After earning a degree in nursing, she moved to Nashville where she co-wrote with artists such as Pam Tillis, Matraca Berg, Mo Pitney and Bobby Tomberlin. She performed with Brad Paisley and Shania Twain in a concert honoring fellow healthcare workers during the pandemic and recently made her Grand Ole Opry debut. Lauren is currently touring in support of her album God Made a Woman, which was named to the New York Times and Saving Country Music Best of 2020 lists and reached #5 on iTunes in country album sales. .
