The 17-year-old, who is mentored by Linda Perry, has been selected as one of the INDIVIDUALS Shine as part of the Gap Amplifies Voices Through Diverse Ensemble of Modern Changemakers campaign.

Amai’s fifth single “Blows By” from her debut album I can go to bed anytime was used in his teaser for the GAP campaign. The single will be released as part of the campaign. “Blows By” is the upcoming video which was also shot as an accompanying video for the project.

Marie alderete said in a press release. “Gap continues to amplify the voices of the people making change and shaping culture, celebrating who they are and what makes them a true representation of today’s voices. The campaign was designed by Gap Global Creative Director Len peltier. It was realized by Christian Weber and the portraits were made by Marc Seliger. Weber and Seliger have been capturing iconic creative projects from Gap since the 1990s.
